My personal blog is dedicated to healthful, aspirational living for women who want to live their lives with full intention.
With the overwhelming amount of motivational and healthy living content out there, I never could find exactly what I was looking for. Either it was too broad, too focused on trends, or geared toward 20-somethings who happen to have way too much time on their hands (no offense, 20-somethings). I knew if I wanted to find exactly what I was looking for, I’d have to write about it myself.
Like me, if you’re interested in simple, wholesome nutrition, active living that’s more about feeling strong vs. the latest workout gear, and getting the most out of life by curating ideas from some of the best in the industry, then you’ll feel right at home here.
Also focused on anti-inflammatory living, my blog serves as a reminder for those with autoimmune conditions that regardless of their condition, nothing can hold them back from achieving their health goals. Diagnosed with an autoimmune condition at the age of two, then again with another when I turned 30, I’ve always been interested in learning more about how I can make the most of the cards I was dealt. Instead of feeling sorry for myself and making excuses for the way I felt, I wanted to do more and learn more — to thrive regardless of what I, and others, told myself. While still learning, I want to share what I’ve learned with like-minded women who also don’t want to let any condition or circumstance hold them back.
The more I learned and started to take action on the things in my life were important to me, I started to see huge change in both my health and my outlook. Because if one thing is true, we all are in complete control of our journey and the stories we tell ourselves about what is possible.
While we all have a different story, and everyone’s situation is unique, I’m a true believer that if you push yourself to try new things and think in new ways — even if it's hard — the rewards and impact on your life will be significant. Because when it all comes down to it, we’re all trying to do our best. The sharing of ideas and encouraging one another is the best way to learn and grow our sphere of gratitude, understanding and acceptance.
As a journalism school graduate, marketer, and with a knack and passion for writing, sharing what’s what helped me turn things around seemed like a natural way to open up about my life, put myself out there, and hopefully help others in the process. Whether you’re just looking for a new angle on a topic, or want to learn more about anti-inflammatory lifestyle in practice, I hope you’ll find the content here helpful and motivational.
Thank you so much for reading.
